European Concert Halls Offering Eco-Solutions

Music. Nature. Responsibility.

ECHOES is a trans-European initiative that empowers live music venues to become catalysts for ecological transformation. Bringing together partners from Romania, Greece, Norway, and Ukraine, the project combines artistic creation, sustainable venue practices, and cross-border collaboration to shape a greener future for the live music sector.

Through an innovative sustainability toolkit, an international artist residency, and a European concert tour, ECHOES connects soundscape ecology with contemporary music — transforming environmental awareness into artistic experience.

What is ECHOES?

ECHOES is a European cooperation project designed to integrate sustainability into the live music ecosystem — from venues and artists to audiences and communities.

The project operates at the intersection of:

  • Environmental sustainability
  • Contemporary music creation
  • Digital innovation

At its core, ECHOES empowers venues to adopt sustainable practices while supporting artists to co-create original musical works inspired by natural soundscapes.

ECHOES is a transnational initiative bringing together venues, artists, and communities from four European countries to promote sustainable practices, cross-border artistic collaboration, and environmental awareness through music.
