Aligning Culture with the European Green Deal ECHOES is deeply rooted in the overarching priorities of the European Union, ensuring that the cultural sector plays a leading role in a sustainable future:
- Creative Europe Greening Efforts: We advance the EU Green Deal by embedding ecological thinking across all project activities, targeting a 15-20% energy reduction in partner venues within 24 months.
- Digital Transition: The project embraces the digital shift through an interactive multilingual platform that serves as a digital ecosystem for knowledge exchange, virtual collaboration, and digital archiving of acoustic environments.
- Inclusion & Gender Equality: We are committed to a minimum of 50% representation of women in management and artistic roles. Furthermore, we provide specific support for cultural resilience by ensuring the mandatory inclusion of Ukrainian artists.
- International Relations: By establishing a formal network across Romania, Greece, Norway, and Ukraine, we foster cross-border solidarity and long-term artistic dialogue.
