OUR METHODOLOGY
A Holistic Framework for Transformation ECHOES employs a mixed-methods approach to ensure that sustainability is both practical and scientifically grounded:
- Phase 1: Research & Mapping: We begin by mapping existing ecological toolkits and best practices to identify gaps and ensure our solutions are innovative and non-duplicative.
- Phase 2: Expert-Led Development: An expert group specializing in environmental science, circular economy, and event production develops the criteria for our Modular Sustainability Toolkit.
- Phase 3: Validation & Testing: The toolkit undergoes rigorous validation through workshops and hands-on testing at partner venues to ensure usability and effectiveness.
- Phase 4: Collaborative Creation: Our artistic methodology integrates Soundscape Ecology with contemporary composition. Selected artists participate in residencies where they use field recordings as primary material, bridging the gap between scientific environmental data and emotional artistic experience.
- Phase 5: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E): We apply a rigorous M&E framework based on ISO 20121:2024 standards, using quantitative metrics (utility bills, waste tracking) and qualitative feedback (artist and audience surveys) to measure our total impact.
